Magnetometer (MAG) measured the magnetic field in the heliosphere. Measurements of Jupiter's magnetic field were also performed. Two magnetometers performed Ulysses' magnetic field measurements, the Vector Helium Magnetometer and the Fluxgate Magnetometer.
