Dimming (1-5) - from macro pixels that dimmed by more than 10%: 1: 0-5 such macro pixels, 2: 5-10 such macro pixels, 3: >10 such macro pixels in one wavelength, 4: >10 such macro pixels in two wavelengths, 5: >10 such macro pixels in three wavelengths
Eruption (1-4) - from visual inspection of images:1: Nothing, 2: Confined ejection, 3: Jet-like ejection not confined, 4: Large (CME-like) ejection not confined
Wave (1-4) - from running difference of 195 A images: 1: Nothing, 2: Marginal, 3: Small scale (less than 1/2 Rsun), 4: Large scale
CME (1-5) - from LASCO and COR1/2 images: 0: No coronagraph data (LASCO or STEREO), 1: No noticeable outflow, 2: Outflow that disppears within 3 Rsun, 3: Narrow CME or jet (e.g., narrower than 20 deg), 4. CME, detectable up to 10 Rsun, 5. CME, detectable to > 10 Rsun
Type III burst (1-4) - from Wind/WAVES spectra: 1: Nothing, 2: Delayed with respect to the impulsive phase, 3: Weak, but appears to be during the impulsive phase, 4: Clear, impulsive phase
