Script used to reload spacecraft position which had been represented in ASCII file with insufficient resolution.

Autoplot allows plotting of data from many data sources, including remote CDF files and HAPI servers. Datasets are identified with URIs, and by the URI's extension, data are loaded into the internal data model. Data are then displayed by guessing the rendering method and axis ranges to provide a reasonable, useful view of the data. Data can then be additionally processed with other operations like smooth and FFT, and Jython scripting provides a capable programming environment.

This is the Autoplot v2021a branch. This is an update to the production version containing bugfixes and minor new features. Java 8 is now required.

Run with 1GB of memory to support 32-bit Java versions, and run off of ci-pw build server: autoplot_1GB.jnlp

Bugfixes (2022-06-28 r26702):

• 2449: other cases where append fails because timetags are different backing. Thanks, Sadie!
• check to see if findex failure is due to non-repeating or decreasing and report more precise error.
• 2464: completions for /tmp/convert/*.dat?column= produced runtime error because of old miscalculation.
• 2459: command-line autoplot with --script couldn't pass arguments to script because of unnecessary quotes.
• 2465: Interval Average of PSP/EPILo data showed that rank 2 time-varying DEPEND_1 was not handled property in some rank-reducing routines. Thanks, Jon N!
• 2462: dataset('2021-02-02') returns a rank 0 dataset instant, not rank 1 range.
• 2463: detect where erg_hep_l2_omniflux has energy[2,n] to represent bins. Thanks, Allison!
• 2456: corrections to fix Run Batch when colorbar is changed and overlays used. Thanks, Sadie!
• filenameProvidesContext checks to see if the hours offset really looks like it is hours. Thanks, Sadie!
• getProperty('os.family') is returning null on some platforms.
• URI vap+orbit:rbspa-pp&timerange=tr would be mangled in the editor if the timerange contained colons.
• Annotation had code which assumed the x axis units were not time location units.
• lblx extention triggered PDS source, but parts within the source were still checking for a .xml extension.
• 2456: progress bar left hanging after runtime error because RunLaterListener runtime error would block later listeners.
• 2455: misuse of iterator in Jython setItem sloppiness would result in hang. Thanks, Bill!

Older Bugfixes (2022-05-26 r26667):

• Corrections to FFTPower Translation code, which was broken after years of disuse. Thanks, Jolene!
• corrections to CdfSparseDataSet, which is needed to support FFTPower operation.
• 2454: correction to .jyds scripts, when script=xx keyword is used, PWD must be xx's location, not the data location.
• DisplayDataMouseModule shows the data precisely within the box, so that expected number of data points within a box can be confirmed.
• Correction to trim of JoinDataSet, which didn't consider that DEPEND_1 might be rank 2.
• 2453: CDF-reading code throws informative exception when blocks are greater than 2GB. Thanks, Kristoff!
• 2451: RENDER_TYPE=scatter is propagated through slice.
• 2451: back out change from Mar 21 (rev 26562), which broke existing functionality. Thanks, Jon N!
• remove where TODO items in BufferDataSet.append, supporting append of longs.
• 2449: case where append fails because timetags are different backing. Thanks, Ivar!
• HttpFileSystem getHeadMetadata had incorrect code when assembing URL for head request.
• PNGWalkTool had excessive synchronized block use, causing hang on Mac. Thanks, Sadie!
• Autoplot Server feature, where telnet from localhost can control Autoplot, once again allows imports. Thanks, Simon!

Features:

• 784 QDataSet AVERAGE_TYPE metadata introduced and used in interpolate.

This completes the feature set for the new production branch. No major features will be added before branching this version. A production branch will be started in a couple of weeks, and the "Start Autoplot" link at the top of autoplot.org will run this version.
